RS422 serial to LTE Gateway

RS422 Serial to LTE Gateway

A compact, industrial-grade 2G/LTE gateway that enables a long-distance data transmission for industrial devices via the public cellular network (2G/LTE). Any serial RS422 enabled industrial device that needs optimal and recurring supervision from a distant central server can be connected to this LTE gateway with a minimal configuration setting.

With the ability to support multiple serial protocols such as Modbus RTU, ASCII or custom request/response, produce/consume, it functions as a multiprotocol gateway for various industrial applications. Additionally, this gateway can enable bi-directional communication, allowing remote control while monitoring. It also includes edge intelligence for increased operational effectiveness.

Highlights

PreciCloud - Cloud Dashboard

Our cloud platform provides a convenient way to view data from anywhere, integrating predefined widgets for applications like energy meter and flow meter reading. It supports remote device configuration, over-the-air firmware upgrades, and email/SMS notifications based on edge intelligence. User can download the reports in CSV, XLS, PDF..

PreciCon - Configurator Tool

By using our specially designed configurator tool, "PreciCon", it is possible to configure gateway’s serial settings, Modbus registers, event conditions & cloud settings. It also supports upgrading firmware and configuration of the device remotely over the air. This tool includes predefined configuration settings for devices from renowned manufacturers.

Applications

Multiprotocol gateway for Smart energy meter

Smart energy meters are most commonly in industrial automation applications where energy consumption, voltage/current levels and power factor information are acquired and processed in order to optimize their electricity consumption in real time. Though it provides instantaneous and totalized data in local display for manual observations, it is possible to acquire the data remotely round the clock via our Multiprotocol gateway.
RS422 Serial to LTE gateway works extensively with standard energy meters are available in market with various communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/ASCII or proprietary command/response. It enables rapid configurations, secure and reliable data transmission from the meter to our cloud server (PreciCloud), allowing real-time monitoring and analysis of energy consumption.
