Our range of IoT Edge Gateways are an IP40 rated, industrial grade devices, supports different serial interfaces like RS232, RS422 and RS485 which makes it suitable for connecting your industrial devices to a cloud server. Thanks to its futuristic edge intelligence capability which enables user to set thresholds or conditions for reporting the events.
Utilizing the public cellular network (4G/2G), this small and robust wireless device allows industrial users to send data over great distances. This edge gateway can function as a Modbus gateway where any Modbus enabled serial device can be easily interfaced with little setups, enabling remote supervision from a central server.
Due to its support for multiple serial protocols, such as ASCII, Modbus RTU, and proprietary protocols, it is ideal for applications such as flow meter reading, remote controlling of PLCs, HMIs, etc. The device also offers a user-friendly interface for quick configuration and monitoring of data.
Our cloud platform provides a convenient way to view data from anywhere, integrating predefined widgets for applications like energy meter and flow meter reading. It supports remote device configuration, over-the-air firmware upgrades, and email/SMS notifications based on edge intelligence. User can download the reports in CSV, XLS, PDF..
By using our specially designed configurator tool, "PreciCon", it is possible to configure gateway’s serial settings, Modbus registers, event conditions & cloud settings. It also supports upgrading firmware and configuration of the device remotely over the air. This tool includes predefined configuration settings for devices from renowned manufacturers.
Installation and Commissioning of the device is made easy with very few simple steps. Choose your end device from the list and single click to configure the device. Plug your serial device with standard DB9 connector and rigidly screw the gateway with available flange arrangements. Open the cloud dashboards with credentials. You are ready to monitor !!!

Our RS485 serial IoT edge Gateway are fine tunned to support most of the standard flow meters available in market. Most of the flowmeters supports serial interfaces with different protocols such as Modbus RTU/ASCII or proprietary protocols through which live data can be monitored using a cloud server. The instantaneous and totalized flow values can be acquired and displayed in PreciCloud dashboard enabling operators to monitor water usage, detect irregularities, and trigger alarms based on edge intelligence feature. The gateway supports customizable data logging and reporting, allowing operators to generate detailed insights into flow patterns over time. With remote configuration and OTA (Over-the-Air) updates, system administrators can fine-tune parameters, set thresholds, and manage large-scale deployments without requiring on-site intervention.

PLC’s are commonly used in industrial automation applications where low cost versions generally supports serial interface like RS485, RS232 or RS422. Among them, RS485 half-duplex serial communication will be commonly available with support for Modbus. Our RS485 serial IoT edge gateway can be used as a Modbus gateway for such PLCs where connections and commissioning are made easy with very few steps.
With our PreciCon configurator tool, user can simply select the desired PLCs from the list of renowned manufacturers. All the Modbus register settings are pre-configured where by just choosing the required data and upload interval will be more than sufficient for device configuration. Just write the configuration.

An RS485 IoT Edge Gateway is a device that: Connects RS485 devices (meters, sensors, PLCs, controllers) to the cloud. Converts RS485 protocols (like Modbus RTU) into IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP GET, HTTP POST, etc.). Processes data locally (edge) for filtering, alerts, or control, then sends useful required Registers data to the cloud.
